Deducting donations from your taxes
You can claim your donation to MAF Switzerland on your tax return. As a ZEWO-certified aid organisation we are recognised for tax purposes – which means you can deduct your gift from your taxable income.
Exactly how much is deductible depends on your canton of residence and federal rules. The provisions vary, but in most cases you will notice the benefit. We automatically issue you a donation receipt that you can submit with your tax return.
So that help also reaches places it could never reach overland.
